Hotel Budweis

Description

The Hotel Budweis is situated directly in the centre of the town, in a quiet area by the Malše River. The history of the building goes back to the 14th century when a grinding mill used to be located here.

The hotel finds itself within walking distance (1 min) of the main square-shaped square of Premysl Ottokar II, which counts itself as being one of the most beautiful squares in Europe.

Out of the hotel rooms´ windows, there is a magnificent view of the Vltava River and the Malše River confluence, the historical part of the town with the square, and the Malše River with the adjacent Dominican monastery - the most ancient historical monument of the town, which dates back to the period of the town's foundation in the 13th century.
